5 Days Wildebeest Migration Crossing Mara River / Northern Serengeti

Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park (North)

You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha in the morning and transferred to the Serengeti National Park (North). The drive takes about 6 hours with stops for lunch and game viewing en-route. After entering the park, you will have a game drive en-route to your camp or lodge in the park. You will have dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

Day 2-4: Serengeti National Park (North)

You will have three full days in the Serengeti National Park (North) to observe the wildebeest migration and try to witness the Mara River crossing. The exact location of the wildebeest varies depending on the month, but your guide will take you to the best spots depending on their current location. You will have morning and evening game drives, starting early in the morning when the animals are most active. During the day, you will return to the camp/lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the evenings, you can enjoy a sunset game drive before returning to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park (North) to Arusha

After breakfast, you will check out from the camp/lodge and depart for Arusha. On your way out of the park, you will have a game drive en-route with picnic lunch. You will arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your departure flight.
